Use a hard drive copy utility that can manipulate your disk partitions!

Acronis Partition Expert lacks the ability to boot from multiple OS to that you need Acronis OS Selector which is another hard drive utility product. You can use both Partition commander and Partition magic to create multiple OS boot drives.

A unique feature with Partition Expert is that the user interface can display partition content for more than one drive.

With Acronis PartitionExpert you can work in Windows or you can launch your action from batch mode.

Working with Powerquest Partition Magic you can split and merge partitions and also modify registry settings. It uses an XP windows interface and you can run it in batch mode.

Partition commander 8 uses a Windows look-alike interface from DOS.

You can use one of these products as your hard disk copy tool to do data backup from one drive to another on your desktop or laptop computer.

Partition Magic is the market leader but it is more expensive that the other products.

These more advanced hard drive copy utilities are only needed for more complicated disk manipulations.

For most users a more simpler and convenient solution is needed like using a hard drive copy utility and security product for your data backup.
