Drive Snapshot creates a single industry standard image file which contains all the data of the particular selected disk drive. This utility creates a virtual drive which stores all the drive data selected for backup and user can later compare or recover files from the disk image file. Daily Backup supports Windows 98/ XP/ NT/ME and performs backup/recovery tasks for files.
Daily backup operates in 2 modes: complete backup mode or incremental backup mode. In complete backup, selected data set is backed up. Incremental backup permits to backup newly created files or changed files. Daily backup creates a zip archive of the specified backup directory into an archive directory. Users have the flexibility and option to specify the archive directory wherein the backup archive can be stored. Filters can be set on file types to restrict backup to the filtered file types or backup only the filtered file types. Daily backup is fast since it never monitors hard drive but watches the operating system and specifies/marks directories for backup on each file creation/modification. This feature strengthens daily backup to perform zip backup before system shutdown, logout or any change in system settings.
